Bassett Mechanical is currently seeking qualified candidates
for the following positions:
Material Control
Coordinator for our Kaukauna
location. Responsibilities for this role
include the following: verify material is received in accordance with the purchase
order; check material for any signs of physical damage; verify material is
marked in accordance with material specification and is in agreement with the
MTR(s) and purchase order; segregate code and non-code materials; maintain
stock list of materials; organize and maintain ASME and non-ASME storage area;
provide craft with materials as needed; and other tasks assigned by the Quality
Control and/or Operations Manager. Skills/Education/Training Requirements:
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Strong
organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Experience in an ASME code
fabrication environment is preferred. Technical school degree or technical
training program is desired. Ability to read purchase orders,
shipping documents and material reports and extract relevant information.
Basic math skills are a must. Proven written and verbal communication
skills.
Piping Systems
Designer for our Kaukauna location. Duties include developing design drawings and
related specifications of mechanical equipment, according to engineering
sketches and design proposal specifications. This person will be doing CAD
drafting of P & ID’s, piping systems, refrigeration packages, pressure
vessels, as built drawings and other mechanical systems. He/she will complete
layouts of refrigeration packages including equipment, steel framing, piping,
control panels, conduit, tubing, guards and enclosures. Skills/Education/Training
Requirements: 2 year associate degree in
mechanical design (or equivalent experience). Proficiency
with the latest release of AutoCAD. Experience with 3D CAD software;
AutoCAD MEP, Inventor, Solidworks preferred. Pipe drafting
experience including knowledge of pipe, valves and fittings of various
materials. Familiar with codes including ASME Pressure Piping, ASME
Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASHRAE, IIAR, NEC, Wisconsin Administrative
Code as it applies to mechanical systems and OSHA. Possess/develop estimating
skills through use of computerized estimating programs and possess/develop
knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration systems technology and applications.
Pipe Shop Assistant for
our Kaukauna location. This person will be assisting all pipe shop
functions run more efficiently and smoothly by assisting in a variety of
tasks. Some of the main responsibilities
of this position are the following: hydro testing pressure vessels, maintaining
a clean and organized pipe shop, loading and unloading trucks, running parts to
job sites, palletizing products for shipment, sandblasting and spray painting and other duties as assigned. Skills/Education/Training
Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude
and ability to work with hands and use hand tools. Willing to learn and understand the safety
rules for hydro testing, sandblasting, spray painting, etc. Ability to work
independently and with a team.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Great work ethic and stable work history.
Ammonia Refrigeration
Technician for our Madison location. Qualified candidates will work with a variety
of refrigeration systems at client sites and will be involved with performing
preventive maintenance, new system start ups, and troubleshooting system
problems. Skills/Education/Training Requirements Include: Skilled trades journeyman or equivalent
background. 5+ years experience with
Industrial Refrigeration and Freezing Systems (NH3). Must possess or be willing to acquire OSHA
Hazwoper certification (training provided by the company). Good computer skills. Must be physically able to climb ladders,
scaffolds, access rooftops, enter restricted areas for first hand observation
and inspection
