Bassett Mechanical Announces New General Manager In Madison

Bassett Mechanical, a global mechanical contractor based in Wisconsin, recently announced the appointment of Walter Doderer as general manager at the company’s Madison location.

In his new position, Doderer will be responsible for recruiting, as well as developing sales and technical staff to support the growing customer base. He will manage the growth of the Madison office by meeting the annual goals for revenue, profit, new customer acquisition and customer retention.

Doderer is a senior-level professional, skilled at leading teams, and growing a mechanical and energy services business. He brings a wealth of experience to Bassett with a background in project management, general management and account executive positions at previous mechanical companies.

In addition, Doderer has served as the president and vice president of the Denver chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). While president, the Denver chapter grew to its largest membership, attaining “Top 10” status in worldwide membership.

Doderer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.
