Bassett Mechanical Wins United Way Award

At the United Way 2011 Campaign Celebration held on January 18, 2012, Bassett Mechanical was awarded the United Employee Campaign Manager/ Team of the Year award in the medium organization category for this past year. This award focuses on campaign improvement in 3 main areas: company giving, total campaign dollars raised, and percent of participation. Bassett was able to significantly increase their annual program giving through company events, individual contributions, and corporate charitable donations, increasing the amount accumulated from 2010 to 2011 by 60%. Bassett Mechanical was able to end the year with an increase in employee participation four times higher than the previous year.

Along with Bassett’s campaign committee (Renee Bake, Barb Bassing, Dan Buechler, Katelyn Fleischer, Amy Meyerhofer, Danielle Soland, and David Williams); Employees from UA Local 400 and SMWIS Local 18 were also huge contributors in making this year’s fundraiser such a success!
