David Williams Joins Bassett Mechanical

David Williams has joined Bassett Mechanical as vice president of manufacturing. Williams will be responsible for overseeing Bassett’s manufacturing division including sheet metal fabrication, piping and pressure vessel fabrication.

Williams’ strong background in lean manufacturing and experience with custom manufacturing settings are an ideal skill set to best serve Bassett’s customers, said Kim Bassett-Heitzmann, president and CEO of Bassett Mechanical.

“I am very excited to have David join our team at Bassett. I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to our manufacturing division, and will help us continue to grow our company,” said Bassett-Heitzmann.

Most recently Williams was vice president of operations at Appleton [Papers] and prior to that he held various positions as vice president and operations manager. Williams is a Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a BBA in accounting with a minor in psychology.
