It’s hard to believe a New Year is here! Although this season of the year is often when we reflect upon the good things we have, like our partnership with you – our customers, I want to express how grateful I am for you all year long. I am thankful for you putting your trust in us, and for the relationships and partnerships we continue to build.
2022 was another year of exciting growth and advancements for our company. We are excited about our new expansion into Minnesota. We recently opened a new refrigeration service office in Byron, Minnesota, just west of Rochester. This location will allow us to serve industrial refrigeration customers in the surrounding region. We’ve come a long way from one man and a truck in 1936 to now 5 locations across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Each year I look back and am humbled when I consider the number of customers who have depended on us and partnered with us to support their operations.
We continue to expand our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) capabilities and personnel to drive more work into our manufacturing facility by integrating prefabrication and manufacturing processes into construction project delivery. As a result, we can proactively prevent concerns related to safety, accessibility, and project schedules, saving our customers time and money.
Behind this growth is our amazing team of more than 550 associates – engineers, fabricators, project managers, installers, service professionals, and so many more! One of our key business strategies is to create a foundation to ensure a strong culture of empowerment and respect for our associates in order to continue making Bassett a great place to work. The goal is to attract and retain talented associates by sustaining a strong culture committed to personal learning, career growth, and Creating Customers for Life®.
When it comes to safety, Bassett Mechanical holds high expectations. In 2022, we received the 2021 Mechanical Contractors Association of America and CNA Insurance Safety Excellence Award. This prestigious award is presented to North America’s top five mechanical contracting companies based on the number of hours safely worked.
