At Bassett Mechanical, we aim to give our associates resources and opportunities to grow personally and professionally through training and mentorship. We set them up for success from the start.

Angela Marshalek, Director of Training and Organizational Development (OD) at Bassett Mechanical, was recently a guest on the Gut + Science podcast. She is passionate about leadership and personal growth. In her role, she guides Bassett leaders on their journey to self-awareness, empowering them to break free from self-preservation and unlock their hidden potential.

If you were successful at the end of the day today, what would that look like? What do you need to do to feel like today was a win?

Angela says, “I love asking myself this question when I’m feeling overwhelmed. It helps me gain clarity and focus. And the same goes for others. As a leader, this is one of my favorite questions to pose to others. The answers I hear often tell me a lot about the person I might not have otherwise known, and it allows me to help set them up for success.”

Angela shared some extremely effective questions you can add to your leadership toolbelt during her chat with Nikki (Lewallen) Gregory on #GutPlusScience where they dive into what self-awareness really means and how to achieve it. It isn’t easy and a never-ending process, but it is so worth it.
